  • WBV 16.2 Bayou Segnette Complex – Contract Amount $57.1 Million: Sole Project Engineer for construction of 400 CFS pump station, 56-foot sector gate, dredging, levee,
    and T-wall. Reviewed shop drawings and design calculations of circular cofferdam temporary retaining structure for sector gate, 2-phase strut and wailer temporary retaining
    structure for pump station, formwork calculations for permanent structures, and pile hammer analysis for approval. Oversaw all testing of embankment, concrete, welding and
    geotextile fabric using applicable ASTM. Administered and approved construction methods for concrete placement, reinforcing steel placement, compacted fill placement
    and formwork erection. Calculated quantities of invoice items for payment. Managed team of inspectors. Reviewed and enforced traffic control plans adjacent to construction

Reviewed design and approved field installation of HY-05 two position valves, butterfly back flow preventers, and anti-buoyancy check valves that enabled siphonic recovery.

  • Davis Pond Freshwater West Guide Levee – Contract Amount $2.3 Million: Project Engineer for installation of new vinyl sheet pile along lower guide levee. Reviewed and approved manufacturer’s literature and design data for vinyl sheeting. Oversaw construction activities in the field.
